Responsibilities
You will be involved in a broad range of accounting and financial reporting advisory assignments for our financial services clients including accounting for financial instruments for our non-financial services clients. These assignments include:
- Advising on GAAP implementation / conversion projects (e.g. IFRS or Singapore FRS)
- Providing accounting advice on complex financial structures or hedge accounting
- Advising on controls / processes relating to IFRS / Singapore FRS reporting
- Providing support on financial due diligence, valuation, capital raising or merger acquisitions transactions.
Requirements
- Relevant banking and/or accounting qualifications
- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience with an international public accounting firm with experience in statutory audit
- Additional experience in US GAAP, IFRS / Singapore FRS implementation, project management, product control or back office of a financial services institution would be favourably considered
- Proficiency in written and spoken business Mandarin is also an advantage.
