Position Description:
SunGard's solutions for capital markets help banks, broker/dealers and futures commission merchants increase the efficiency and transparency of securities and derivatives processing. They also provide accounting, securities financing, data management and tax reporting across multiple platforms, asset classes and markets. Supporting the entire trade lifecycle from execution to settlement, SunGard provides centralized transactional databases that deliver consolidated views of positions and risk.
Showing deep understanding of the business, the pre-sales will foster an open communication with potential clients in order to understand and document their requirements and propose a solution. Based on such proposal, the presales should be able to explain in detail the solution and answer technical questions and address concerns. He/she will prepare and deliver or arrange product demonstrations, ascertaining that they incorporate as closely as possible the clients' business needs. He/she should ensure that the contracted commitments can be fulfilled by the solutions, and delivered properly by the implementation team.
Duties also include providing sales support; assisting in the drafting and integration of proposals; responding to RFI/RFP; and generally helping raise awareness and orient perceptions regarding SunGard and the products under Global Trading brand.
- Working closely and supporting sales team in winning deals
- Having strong knowledge in the products SunGard are selling
- Performing product demos and conducting workshops with clients
- Having a strong sense of how to take a solution selling approach when working with the sales when selling SunGard solutions.
- Pinpointing key aspects of a deal and working closely with the business to highlight these in respect to winning deals
- Having a strong knowledge of the electronic trading business and all that supports it.
Working with product lines, providing insight and guidance to what clients are looking for, like or dislike in respect to what SunGard provide.
Position Requirements:
- Strong experience in the financial markets both cash and derivatives.
- Strong and broad experience of the full front to back electronic trading industry
- Broad financial solutions experience
- Strong knowledge in the full life cycle of an order.
- Sound IT knowledge which support the electronic trading industry (I.e: , Networks, FIX, markets)
