Accounting Analyst, Invesment Company recruitment
Responsibilities
• Verify and apply accounting treatment to transactions/balances for management and advisory companies
• Perform analyses and detail support for management reports and in preparation for review by outside auditors
• Participate in the ongoing improvement of quarterly close processes through standardizing workpaper support for GL entities.
• Support the timely completion of and verify accuracy of tax entries.
• Work with technical accounting team to ensure correctness of firm’s consolidated entities.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree in accounting and CPA required
• A minimum of 3+ years experience at a big 4 public accounting firm with exposure to financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting and technical accounting topics.
• Able to communicate and effectively interact with front office investment team
• Open to international travel as needed
• Superior verbal and written skills
