Accounting BA – Balance Sheet Controller recruitment
Global Markets Middle Office delivers control functions and is responsible for providing assurance over data and processes used to record risk, P/L, balance sheet and financial results in support of Global Markets, Corporate Treasury and Corporate Investments businesses. Within this, the Accounting Control Middle Office team is responsible for certain core accounting processes and controls across all business lines, based around 5 main functions:-
Daily business support (autorecs, suspense/ exceptions, GL mapping etc)
Balance sheet control (policy, monitoring and improvement)
Bookmap (portfolio population and attribute control)
Internal OTC PV control
GL infrastructure (acting as MO SME and co-ordination working with Finance)
Responsibilities
ACG has a significant portfolio of change initiatives, most of which are global in scope, all of which require high profile interaction and influence across a multitude of cross functional support groups.
- Defining business cases
- Shaping and scoping the projects in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
- Production of project initiation documentation (PID), business requirement documentation (BRD), end to end process control flows, and the performance of the post implementation relating to specific project streams
- Issue and risk management
- Produce, deliver and communicate regular management information and status reporting to all stakeholders
- Provide business analysis support
- Issue, risk, and status reporting
