Accounting Control recruitment
The Accounting Controller is responsible for the interface between Finance and PC. You will be using complex and risk reporting systems, and must have a strong understanding of accounting issues and knowledge of multiple product types for the purpose of the hands off process from PC to Finance. Specific responsibility will be for the revenue ledger and reconciliation of the reported PL and BS to the GL.
Key Responsibilities
• Balance sheet substantiation;
• Conducting detailed analysis in support of the Product Control and Finance functions;
• Understand the trading strategies and principal drivers of the reported PL, Balance Sheet, provisions, types of trades etc;
• Preparation of commentary concerning balance sheet movements
• Liaison between front office, product control, finance and all trade support teams
• Implementing effective process controls and process re-engineering
• Additional ad hoc and monthly accounting processes
• Ad-hoc projects and systems implementation / enhancements – specifically General Ledger feeds from source systems
