Commercial and Contract Manager recruitment
The successful candidate's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Retail Store / Build Activity:
- Develop Business case principals and templates ensuring all investments deliver the right level of ROI
- Implement a post implementation review process
- Develop and implement cost reporting tools
- Document processes and identifies process improvement opportunities
- Capex and Opex forecasting and management
- Monitor and report on individual and overall store build program financial results / forecasts.
- Review and revise the financial model used for Store build program – Shared cost model.
- Future expenditure planning for all related store and or retail performance programs
Maintain the Licensee Agreement to reflect the latest position for te organization and it’s partners and ensure internal and external sign off on any alterations.
Contract management, monitoring complex high value contracts and ensuring all contracts are up to date and reflect the current business needs
Document and track contracts and amendments and monitoring contract development performance, working with internal functional areas and with the Legal Department to fulfil all internal processes and procedures necessary to submit requests for new contracts or update amendments
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary education qualification (degree or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial role
- Excellent Budgeting process and Capex / Opex management
- Fully competent in deal structures, contract structures (T's C's) and scheduling
- Ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on PL, risk to delivery, etc.
- Achievement-orientated
- Business commercial awareness
- Excellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
- Excellent communication presentation skills
- Telecommunications/FMCG/Retail industry experience
- An effective and enthusiastic team-player, who creates positive working relationships
