Responsibilities:

·         General Ledger responsibilities, including accounting structure and chart of accounts maintenance

·         Coordination and execution of month-end close and financial statement preparation

·         Preparation of monthly Corporate Review reporting, analysis and schedules

·         Prepare and analyze quarterly Board of Directors statements in accordance with the timeline established by corporate finance

·         Serve as the primary liaison with Lifetouch shared services and the corporate finance team to provide information and support as required

·         Coordination of preparation, and review of monthly account reconciliations

·         Annual budget support to HQ departments, and on-going budget control and variance analysis and necessary forecasting for the HQ departments

·         Maintenance of business level financial models and execution of forecasting scenarios

·         Supervision of Staff Accountant(s)

·         Coordination of corporate shared services delivery

·         Documentation and maintenance of selected financial processes and internal controls

·         Coordinate and generate required financial data for the annual external audit

·         Other special projects and duties as assigned by the V.P.  and Director of Finance

·         Prepare/Review annual Tax schedules

 

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelors degree in accounting plus CPA

·         7 - 10 years related experience including minimum 2 years public accounting experience and three plus years retail accounting experience.

·         Sound financial skills and a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

·         Strong PC skills in spreadsheet software and Essbase.

·         Lawson software experience preferred.
