Per established procedures and existing departmental, divisional and corporate policies, this position works directly with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, as well as others internal and external to Cooper. This position assists the Price and Program Manager with pricing analytics and must have the ability to research, analyze and interpret internal and external pricing data to produce substantiated recommendations. The Strategic Pricing Analyst will need to possess the aptitude to gain a thorough understanding of and the action required to achieve success in working with specific customer segments. Specifically, the Strategic Pricing Analyst will review and analyze the company's product pricing compared to published or disclosed prices of competitors in the market place to determine and help develop competitive price relationships between brands, lines and sizes in the Wholesale and Retail channels. In addition, the Strategic Pricing Analyst will download and organize baseline price information, analyze and report on findings, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price strategies. The Strategic Pricing Analyst must also have the potential for upward mobility. Black Belt or Green Belt Certification preferred.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related Business field is required for this position. Advanced PC skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Minitab preferred, but not required. Experience in ERP/IT applications (SAP, Hyperion Essbase) preferred.
