My Aberdeen based client are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Book-keeper to join their team in a temporary job that may have the possibility to go permanent.

The job itself will include the management of purchase; sales; and general ledger, taking these to trial balance stage on a monthly basis.  You will be dealing with clients globally and will therefore be expected to have extremely strong communication skills as you will be dealing with clients from a credit control perspective, and will be expected to understand their needs.  You will have previous experience of managing pre-payments and accruals; be proficient in excel with an understanding of functions such as performing basic calculation set up, data sorting and filtering.
