Equity Research Analyst, Transport
Our client is a leading US bulge bracket investment bank, who are now looking to add an Equity Research Associate/ Junior analyst to their transport team
The role will cover major listed EMEA transport companies and you will work on the writing of sell side equity research across a number of listed stocks. Day to day this will involve writing research notes, financial analysis, modelling, updating clients, sector and industry analysis.
The position has great potential to gain stock coverage responsibility in the short term. At the start, you will probably help the senior analysts with coverage but I sense that there is potential to have your own companies quite quickly.
We are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
- Professional will come from either sell side equity research, investment banking (MA) or another relevant sector
- Candidate will ideally have some transport sector experience but we will consider a very good candidate without this if necessary
- Real interest in financial markets
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to sell and present ideas to clients
- Well presented
- Great academics and highly numeric
