Accounts Assistant/Book Keeper

Our client are a friendly family owned business in Barnsley and due to a retirement are looking to recruit a Book Keeper/ Accounts Assistant to join their settled team

The ideal candidate will be hard working, a team player and MUST have relevant experience in a similar role.

Duties include:

Managing the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
Bank Reconciliations
Cash Book
Small amount of credit control
Accounts to Trial Balance
Ad hoc duties

The candidate should have a good knowledge of finance systems and be able to use Excel.
