Seeking an Associate Director for coverage of the U.S. REIT/REOC industry. This position will have responsibility for monitoring and analyzing the credit profile of companies in this sector. Primary duties associated with the portfolio of companies include: participating in onsite meetings with senior corporate management; performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors, detailed financial modeling; assembling and presenting companies to Fitch's internal credit rating committee; communicating ratings and rating rationale to senior management; interacting with investors, sell-side analysts and media; and writing and publishing press releases and research reports.

 

Must possess 4-6 years of relevant experience; knowledge of the REIT/REOC industry is required. Strong writing skills, a solid foundation of analytical skills and well-developed interpersonal communication skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is necessary. MBA and/or CFA/CPA preferred. Position will require 15-20% travel.
