NEWLY QUALIFIED ACA OR ACCA JOB WORKING AS AN AUDIT ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR FOR A TOP 10 FIRM OF ACCOUNTANTS IN BASINGSTOKE
Our client is a Top 10 firm of accountants and they are looking to appoint a newly qualified ACA or ACCA to join their Audit Business Advisory Team, providing delivery and supervision of each assignment in an efficient and effective manner, and to help ensure that clients receive a quality service in all respects.
The role will encompass completing work to the highest standard within budget, and to liaise with the client appropriately and to practice the principles of excellent service at all times, acting as a day to day point of contact for the client. Build strong relationships with client staff. As well as reviewing work completed by junior staff for accuracy and completeness and to perform written job appraisal feedback, you will take responsibility for maintaining an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses, and to fulfil the Institute’s CPD requirements.
The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified with strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret complex accounting standards and apply them to commercial situations (IFRS and UK GAAP). Ideally they will have the ability to prepare complex consolidations, including very large, multi-currency entities, to demonstrate commercial awareness and to add value. They will also need strong oral and written communication skills, well developed people skills to relate to clients and colleagues and good organisational and time management skills.
