Technology Risk Partner
The Technology Risk Partner role facilitates the clear understanding of the technology risks affecting the organisation, ensuring that the controls in place to address them are fit for purpose and in line with the Group policies, standards and risk appetites.
In addition, you will be responsible for improvements to the Risk Profile of Technology Operations in the areas supported across the organisation through new or enhanced controls as well as improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of controls.
• Providing routine design and operating effectiveness assurance and remediation support and guidance
• Ensuring compliance with Principle Risk frameworks and reporting requirements, working with Risk and Control representatives
• Providing project e.g. pre audit or pre regulator review assessments based design and operating effectiveness assurance and remediation support and guidance
• Driving projects and changes to the Group, Control Environment that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Controls working with the Control Design Teams
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of IT balanced scorecards and management dashboards linked to KPIs and corresponding metrics. Ability to support and deliver through others, whether direct reports, virtual teams or 3rd parties, working as part of a distributed global team. Previous experience of controls assurance practices covering both business and technical controls with knowledge of relevant policies and standards and industry best practices.
