Accounts Payable & Billing Manager
Hays Accountancy Finance are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Billing Manager to work within a large ever expanding organisation based in Swindon.
Your primary function will be to manage the day to day functioning of the Accounts Payable Billing teams. Ensuring consistent achievements of agreed performance targets, KPI's and objectives resulting in optimum performance. This role also encompasses a wide contribution to operational activities performance of management initiatives to aid support to the Operational teams within the global business.
Major Duties Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable :
- Review of existing processes and controls and implementation of new processes and controls in accounts payable management.
- Build strong business relationships with suppliers internal senior management in order to manage supplier processing payments
- Liaison with operational teams to ensure sign-off's validations are expedient
- Work with internal external Auditors, including and client audit teams
- Management of cheques
- Creation of the month end reports.
- Ability to walk through AP processes test functionality
Billing:
- Control of fee structure within the system set up for client contractual billing requirements.
- Record and provide feedback on all items billed
- Provide support, including arranging and support attending internal/ external meetings to changes for both client driven initiatives as well as internal ones.
Experience Requirement:
-Educated to A-level standard ( GCSE will accept at A-C grade)
-Book keeping or basic accounting qualification with AP experience
-High level of computer literacy; MS Office; specifically Word Excel
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong influencing negotiation skills
-You must have some staff management experience
-Previous billing management experience in a pressurised environment would be advantageous
