Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

A leading brokerage firm based in the city is looking for an Accounts Payable manager to come on board and manager a team of 4 Accounts Payable assistants. It is the AP Managers role to ensure accurate and prompt payment of expense claims and third party creditors. The successful candidate must be bright, articulate and confident and able to start the role on short notice.

The role;

* Assist in the day to day invoice/expenses processing
* Completion of Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Accounts Payable to General Ledger
* Control all Internal and External Invoice and Payment queries
* Responsible for ensuring all processes and procedures are SOX complaint
* Main point of contact for all SOX / Auditors queries
* Assist with ad hoc project tasks within the wider Finance department.

Requirements;

* You must have 2/3 years of Management experience
* At least 4/5 years working in an Accounts Payable function
* Financial Services experience would be a preference but is not essential.
* They are looking for a bright, articulate and confident individual who is able to lead and manage a team effectively and can demonstrate where they can really add value.
* Good system skills, Oracle experience would be advantageous.
* Available on a weeks' notice
