Accounts Payable Professional, Greater Belfast, Temp to Perm, salary £18,000 to £20,000 depending on experience
Hays have been retained to recruit a talented Accounts Payable professional to join one of Northern Ireland's top companies operating within the manufacturing sector and based in the Greater Belfast area.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
Ensure that teams objectives are achieved
To ensure invoices are processed to agreed terms
Ability to deal with any invoice query that arises
To oversee all statement reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure all adequate controls are maintained around the payment process
Processing invoices
To ensure the smooth running of the accounts payable function
Liaising with other departments as required
Ad-hoc tasks given by line manager
Essential Criteria
Educated to degree level
Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable environment
Working knowledge of oracle or ERP systems
Excellent track record of working in a fast moving and complex environment
Communicate with people at all levels both internally and externally
Good knowledge of using e-mail, internet, intranet word and excel
