Accounts Payable Specialist Job in Winston Salem 27101, North Carolina Us
Exciting temporary to hire opportunity with a very professional Company for a local, Triad area candidate! Successful candidates must have a bookkeeping and accounts payable background. 1099 knowledge is a plus. Degree preferred. Must have excellent math, 10-key, computer keyboarding, MS Excel and Word, and oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Code items such as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, etc. with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
- Handles vendor correspondence via phone or email.
- Assist with monthly status reports
- Prepares check runs, wire transfers and ACH transactions.
- Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Must be hard-working and very professional.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
