Accounts/Finance Assistant with fluency in Japanese
The main duties will include but will not be limited to dealing with invoicing, P/L, credit control functions, contacting suppliers accordingly, and you will be responsible for supporting all finance/accounting related tasks. These include preparing periodical reports and other reports both in English and in Japanese, and administer expatriates’ expenses and recovery costs from Head Office. You will also be dealing with daily/weekly reconciliations, processing payments, inputting weekly FX rates, as well as following up on Treasury issues and processing invoices and other expenditure. You will also be undertaking ad hoc projects and other general finance duties.
To be successful, you will have native level Japanese as well as fluent English (both oral and written). The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, will be familiar with accounting systems and have a sound knowledge of accounting - including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Some overtime hours are expected for this position hence a flexible approach to work is essential.
