Actuarial Consulting Leader, Superannuation focus
Key Responsibilities
Clients
- Drive client relationships at executive/ board level
- Signatory actuary for actuarial valuation reports and certificates for statutory requirements and accounting standards
- Development and delivery of advice
- Manage numerous projects and demonstrate the ability to delegate to achieve client deadlines.
- Working with asset consulting colleagues to develop appropriate investment objectives, strategies and asset allocations for clients through asset/liability studies
Practice Development
- Respond to client and market demands by constantly evolving and driving new strategies.
- Developing and executing the strategy to achieve growth and revenue targets; driving consistent, high quality delivery
- Serve as a mentor and/or manager to junior project team associates
Skills/Attributes Required
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or international equivalent
- Minimum 10 years prior experience within the pensions/ superannuation industry
- Deep knowledge of relevant professional and accounting standards
- Relevant tertiary qualifications including degree in actuarial studies or related discipline
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills and excellent judgment;
- Strong commercial knowledge of the industry and our competitor landscape
