Administration Assistant, Company Secretarial
A motivated and enthusiastic team member is sought for a junior support role within the Company Secretarial Division's information requests team. You will be responsible for receiving and processing requests for company information from a range of external parties, including solicitors and administrators, courts, police and other statutory authorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Receiving information requests via email, e-fax and formal service
- Searching company records for relevant information
- Responding to requesting parties by phone and in writing
- Dealing with business units which may hold information which must be disclosed to a requesting party
- Coordinating responses by business units where more than one business unit holds relevant information
- Processing changes to records maintained on the Federal Personal Property Securities Register
- Liaising with the Information Technology Group to maintain systems used in the role
- Maintaining the information requests database
- Maintaining procedures and intranet pages
- General team administration
Requirements:
- Suits a motivated school leaver with good marks and some prior work experience
Competencies:
- Ability to organise work to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to follow procedures which are critical to meeting legal obligations in a high volume process
- Previous work experience is desirable
- Team player
- Flexible
