Job Summary:
The Partnership for Defense Innovation is seeking an advanced digital forensics analyst to perform forensic examination on various media types. Additionally, some research and development of new digital forensic techniques and procedures may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks and assignments include, but are not limited to, electronic discovery, data recovery, and forensic imaging utilizing both software-based and hardware based solutions. Examples of such solutions include, but are not limited to, EnCase, FTK, F-Response, Helix3 Pro, Logicube’s Talon, Cellebrite, and Tableau’s TD1. Analyst conducts imaging and analysis on numerous types of mobile devices to including cell phones, iPhones, Windows Mobile devices, BlackBerry smart-phones, and Android devices using such tools as Paraben’s Device Seizure v3.x and Cellebrite’s UFED Mobile Extraction Device.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience required; Prior military experience is preferred but not required, contingent upon years of experience in this field with government contracting or other defense related work.
Executive presence is required with excellent communication skills, both oral and written; must present outstanding interpersonal skills and teaching ability.
Must be able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
