Volt's Aerospace Client is looking for Aerospace Structural Design Engineers to work at one of their many Plants.
Aerospace Structural Design Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Applies knowledge of structural design, materials, design definition principles, regulatory/qualification environment and configuration management principles to create structural designs of commercial airframe products.
- Evaluate designs and perform trade studies for performance, structural adequacy, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Integrate technical, cost, value and safety considerations into the product definition to comply with customer, regulatory and company requirements.
- Document results in drawings, datasets, reports, specification and supporting data.
- Interface with other members of Project or Program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization and company objectives.

Requirements:
Aerospace Structural Design Engineer Qualifications:
- Typically 6-8+ years of experience in an Aerospace Engineering Classification.
- CATIA v5 (6,000+ hours, 3+ years).
- Enovia/PDM experience.
- Must have Structural Engineering experience with large/primary aircraft structures including: fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, landing gear, doors, composites or metal structural systems.
- 4 year ABET accredited Engineering Degree.
Soft Skills:
- Must be able to plan and organize time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
