AIMFD Consultant – Hedge Fund – London
This relatively new to market fund with strong and stable seed backer and good start-up performance is now looking to grow the AUM through its first proactive marketing campaign.
To assist this marketing drive; operationally they are going through a process to ensure that they are fully AIMFD compliant. They have mandated one of the top compliance consultancies to undertake the project. The work load of the COO is however continuing to increase and he would like to have a compliance specialist onsite to manage the project and external service provider. It will suit someone with strong hedge fund regulatory and AIFMD experience that has managed compliance consultancies in the past. He does not see this as a full time position but instead a part-time role for 1 or 2 days a weeks. It could therefore work well for someone with another similar part-time role.
