Airline Marketing Manager
Key Skills:
Directs, coordinates, and participates in the regional airline marketing activity to increase wheel, brake, and brake control system market share consistent with company profit objectives.
Formulation of competitive airline strategies which are consistent with meeting company objectives for growth and profit.
- Plan regional airline marketing strategies in conjunction with the Vice President of Airline Marketing.
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in regularly scheduled airline visits in designated territory in pursuit of new business and the maintenance of existing business.
- Plan, prepare, and present airline commercial proposals.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of airline technical proposals and make technical presentations as needed.
- Interface with management and finance department in the preparation of airline investment studies.
- Present airline proposals for management approval and participate in proposal review meetings with management when necessary.
- Provide management with marketplace intelligence.
- Identify future market trends at the airlines.
- Develop competitive information.
- Keep airlines advised regarding status of product improvement programs.
- Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of product brochures used to market company equipment.
- Act as an ambassador for the company and for airlines in the assigned territory.
- Carry out special duties as assigned.
Candidate Skills:
- University degree in management, marketing, business administration, or related field; or equivalent.
- Significant experience in the wheel and brake industry. Airline experience is an asset.
- An in-depth understanding of aircraft wheels, brakes, and brake control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate at a senior level within the organization is required.
- A thorough knowledge of the infrastructure of the company administrative system, worldwide offices, and authorized representatives.
- Excellent communications skills, written verbal required.
- Excellent presentation skills required.
- Ability to travel extensively.
This role is for a global engineering group specialising in extreme environment components and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defence and energy markets
This is a permanent position based in Coventry- £40/55k
