Alarm Installation & Service Technician Job in Fresno 93650, California US

General Summary:  Alarm Installation Technician is responsible for performing to the division’s installation and or service standards and procedures as documented.

 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.       Installs, services, configures and programs complex systems involving multiple special devices.

2.       Acts as a role and coach/mentor to less experienced installers.

3.       May manage installation teams on large projects.

4.       Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

1.       Proven repair and troubleshooting skills.

2.       Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents as related to equipment repairs.

3.       Good assessment techniques including examining, questioning, evaluation and reporting equipment repairs.

4.       Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
5.      Good Customer Service skills and ability to interact with clients on a professional level at all times.

5.       Good, organizing and communication skills.

 

  

Comments:  Must be certified and have at minimum 1 year electrical and electronic experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Prefer 5 years electrical/electronic experience and/or miniumum 1 year Alarm installation experience. This job requires driving on a daily basis.  Valid California Driver’s License and Good driving record required.
