The Alignment Specialist is responsible for being able to professionally diagnose and repair vehicle systems under MAP guidelines to promote Goodyear's high customer satisfaction levels. This position has been created for stores that maintain 15-20% of alignments per month. The Alignment Specialist performs work as outlined on the repair offer with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership, factory and Goodyear standards. The AS aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars and steering mechanisms on vehicles. Additionally, the AS corrects suspension and alignment problems and performs mechanical repair operations including diagnostic checks, tests and removal and repair of mechanical and electrical parts. The Alignment Specialist must complete additional projects as assigned by the Manager. Driving guest vehicles is an essential function of the job.
Requirements:
Ability to lift an object weighing up to 60 pounds.
Valid driver's license is required
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED preferred
