ALM Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities
- Reporting to an ALM Actuary, work on ALM measures, using actuarial / risk management experience, sense checks and understanding to ensure results are delivered on time and to the required quality.
- Develop spreadsheets, and other systems, as required to support the production of ALM measures.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of ALM techniques and methodologies and apply within role.
- Pro-actively work with other members of the ALM and Investment Team to improve efficiency of the reporting and accuracy of ALM metrics.
- Pro-actively communicate with business contacts across locations, to obtain data and information required to produce the measures and to provide onward cascade of the measures produced, using communication, networking and influencing skills.
Skills knowledge and Experience required
Actuarial experience including completion of the CT series of the actuarial exams, or equivalent ALM skills acquired through other professional disciplines
- Communication skills – in particular, ability to explain complex financial concepts in non-technical language
- Excellent team working
- Excellent problem-solving skills, mathematical and analytical ability
- Ability to apply sense-checking and judgement to results, to identify issues and correct before results are issued

- Salary of up to £46,225per annum depending on experience.
