Alternative Risk Manager
We are pleased to be working with our client a leading Real Estate Firm. Due to significant growth within the business and an influx of new client acquisition, they are looking for a Alternative Risk Manager which will be working for the Management Company and the Asset manager. With the new regulations this person will be involved in AIFMD entities and products with a focus on the Real Estate funds This role will be well suited to someone who is a team player, has an analytical approach and works well under pressure. You will be reporting to the Head of Risk Governance.
The Role:
- Reviewing risk management policies and process related to AIFMD and UCITS legislation
- Oversight and reporting to the management board of the risk effectiveness
- Analysing risks using risk techniques for real estate and other alternative asset classes
- Monitoring the impact of risk management for EMEA-wide and Luxembourg specific developments
- Involvement with projects of on boarding new clients and helping with drafting RFP's
- Helping with drafting and reviewing the KIID and Audit reports
The Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree
- A qualification in risk management would be an asset
- Extensive experience in the alternative investments and/or real estate
- Worked as a risk manager with regulatory work streams
- Excellent knowledge of UCITS and AIMFD
- Detail oriented
- Problem-solving
- Strong communicator
