Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to develop new pooled products, managed by the BNY Mellon Asset Management boutiques, and provide ongoing support to ensure competitiveness of existing products in relevant markets. This will typically involve:

* Producing comprehensive product proposals and recommendations for new product developments, for senior management approval including competitor/market/regulatory analysis as appropriate.
* Developing detailed product specifications for new products.
* Project managing the implementation of new product developments once that have been approved by the relevant internal committees.
* Working with the relevant Investment Boutique, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Investment Communications and Operations (including Third Party Administrators), to ensure new product developments comply with both internal and external regulations, are set up in a cost effective way and that the correct message is delivered to the market.

Qualifications

Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge (and associated skill level)

The candidate should have;

* Experience as product development manager.
* Experience and a good understanding of the asset management industry, investment techniques and pooled product structures in particular UCITS structures domiciled in Ireland and the UK
* Project Management Experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to credibly liaise with senior management as well as developing good working relationships with peer group colleagues.
* A proactive approach to resolving issues as well as identifying developing opportunities.
* Strong organization, time and project management skills
* An attention to detail.
