AML Assurance Managers
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing AML and Assurance team with the opportunity to interact with the difference banking unit across the corporate banking division.
You will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of AML Assurance reviews, with individuals undertaking assurance reviews and working with monitoring teams to track assurance activities. Big 4 experience or Internal Auditing experience would be extremely beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering the division's annual assurance programme to assess compliance with AML policy
- Reviewing AML activity
- Conducting periodic reviews of products and services, policies and procedures and activities within various business units in AML
- Gaining comprehensive understanding of the current risk and control environment
- Writing and presenting assurance reports
- Working with local assurancre and monitoring teams to ensure AML assurance activites are undertaken
- Assisting in the ongoing development of the AML Assurance framework in the corporate banking division
Assurance aspects of the role:
The role will involve working on the:
- Programme assurance and underpinning projects assurance in the corporate banking division
- Performing internal and independent assessments for programme initial setup and governance
- Ensuring implementation of robust risk management
- Review of assurance work already performed in last 12 months
- Tactical solutions in place to address the population/process prior to remediation
- Milestones need to be met by successfully achieving defined success criteria
Exposure to:
- Development for CBD of Group prepared Delivery Acceptance Criteria (DAC)
- Development for CBD of Group prepared Process and Risk Controls (PRC)
Experience:
- Experience in an Assurance role within a major financial services firm
- excellent understanding of risk and control frameworks
- Internal Auditing background
- Big 4 background
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory risk management and reporting processes
- Broad understanding of AML risk management within major financial services firm
- Banking background
- Good stakeholder management
