AML Due Diligence Associate recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews on higher risk clients including analyzing source of wealth, beneficial ownership and other risk relevant information
- Conduct risk assessments through the performance of investigative internal research using a variety of internet and third-party sources
- Liaise with external third party vendors to undertake enhanced due diligence/background analysis of prospective/existing clients
- Daily surveillance of clients accounts for anomalous, high risk or negative information
- Liaise with various members of the KYC, Operations, Technology teams, external vendors regarding enhanced due diligence investigations and other requests for information
- Investigation and analysis of specific customer information (and potentially transactions) and account documents to research and resolve issues
- Support various core functions of the team including media surveillance, sanctions list screening and enhanced due diligence policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated
- A minimum of 3 years AML experience within a top tier investment bank, brokerage firm, securities or wealth management sector
- Prior experience using due diligence vendors and/or databases
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet [INVALID-WORD]nt deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Language skills (European languages preferred) would be an advantage
