The AML IT program within Compliance IT is responsible for the global technology roadmap to support the AML Compliance client and the respective businesses in the bank in order adhere to regulatory requirements.
The AML program is comprised of 2 sub-programs including post-transaction monitoring for suspicious behaviors which could indicate AML activity, as well as client screening (KYC). This role will focus on supporting both sub-programs.
AML is a key strategic agenda item across the bank and therefore this role is of very high importance. Collaboration with other IT groups and business groups (data providers, new product approval, client data, reference data etc.) are essential to achieve integrated AML solutions for the bank.
Role:
The Anti Money Laundering (AML) IT Architect / Strategy Lead is responsible for definition and analysis of architecture and strategy requirements and the requests from business areas and the identification and evaluation of changes. The position captures and documents related requirements, analyzes the impacts of changes and supports also the business area during the implementation process. The position supports also the processes of communication and status reporting of service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Responsibility Areas / Tasks:
- Collects and defines AML architecture and strategy requirements in cooperation and in association with the business area
- Takes part in creation of supporting documentation, e.g. terms of reference
- Supports the providing of signoffs for requirements
- Works as required with program and project managers, clients, functional analysts and developers to ensure that solution design and implementation meet the requirements
- Supports the creation of business scenarios, which address the cost impacts and value drivers of suggested solutions
- Supports the elaboration of feasibility studies and estimates
- Executes data analysis to support related tasks
