Credit Analyst

This is a front office based role, working alongside a senior banker, helping to structure new transactions and write present applications for new deals.

 

Main responsibilities will include:

Analysis of business opportunity.

Preparation of credit presentation and recommendation for review by more senior officers.

Negotiation of product terms and documentation with borrowers/other banks culminating in the close of the transaction.

Pro-actively monitor assigned portfolio in order to become cognisant of business and industry dynamics.

Provide high-quality account administration and maintenance of assigned portfolio with duties to include conducting annual reviews.

Co-ordinating account management with team members and Loan Administration Officers, assessing and responding to customer requests for waivers, amendments and the restructuring of credit facilities. .

 

Skills and experience required:

Degree in a relevant subject.

Recent and relevant Analyst/Associate level corporate banking experience.

In depth Credit Analysis and Credit Modelling skills are essential.

Fluency in English is essential, further language useful but not essential.

Sector knowledge required - specifically Oil and Gas.

A good understanding of credit analysis and of loan documentation is required.
