AML Ops QA and Risk Control SME
Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert in AML regulations, systems and reports.
- Building and applying knowledge of money laundering processes.
- Operating within agreed business SLAs and confidentiality standards.
- Review of transaction monitoring alerts closed by AML Ops Analyst to monitor the adherence to the operational procedures.
- Suggest improvements at the analysts and product level through reviews and reports to ensure AML standards are maintained and/or exceeded.
- Ensuring that the Quality Assurance process is executed in adherence with global standard policies and procedures, using global standard tools.
- Escalation point for review of complex cases to validate that transaction monitoring alerts have been processed in line with quality standards.
- Preparing and validating QA reviewer reports.
- Provide feedback to AML Ops team and work on standardisation of alert monitoring process across hub.
- Maintain close rapport and work closely with AML Ops analysts / Team Leads to streamline and discuss case investigations, where necessary.
- Support internal training and coaching for new team members.
- Analyse and assess the common areas of improvement and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Support QA Manager in global and regional initiatives.
- Preparing and validating QA reviewer reports.
- Facilitating discussion between QA and Ops management to highlight strengths and address potential areas for improvement.
- COB, information security and record management coordinators for the CPB AML Ops unit.
- Working with Regional AML Ops and local ops to rollout the MCA rollout for the CPB AML Ops unit. And ongoing managing the MCA and further enhancement.
- Coordinator for internal/external auditor for the CPB AML Ops unit.
Requirements:
- Computer Literacy with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- At least 5 years experience in AML, banking operations, audit, risk and control, compliance or quality assurance role.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, interact effectively, with different levels of management and to operate with excellent corporate work ethics (timely, honest, respectful and considerate to co-workers)
