AML Senior Officer/Manager (Anti-Money Laundering) recruitment
The Risk and Compliance Function within a Major Investment Bank requires a Senior AML Officer/Manager to contribute to the overall performance of the UK AML Compliance Team. The Regulatory Risk Compliance function seeks to mitigate the risk of legal or regulatory sanctions, material financial loss and reputational harm.
Scope of Role -
To provide specialist regulatory advice on defined product areas and to assist the overseas Compliance Officers, thereby ensuring to the extent possible, consistency of approach on new products, policy and procedures and transactional matters.
Identify areas where regulatory risk standards can be enhanced and assist in their effective implementation.
Provides businesses and Risk leaders with expert input for regulatory policy and strategy
To engage in investigations that may be instigated internally/externally by regulators/other agencies
Assist with drafting of compliance policies and procedures as applicable and where necessary deliver ad hoc training.
Deliverables -
Provide advice and support to Investment Banking staff on all aspects of AML/CTF Policy
Assist in the development and implementation of globally applicable AML policies
Play a key role in ensuring business compliance with AML policies
Provide AML Head with details of any emerging threats
Participate in various projects/initiatives
Ensure absence of regulatory action against the bank caused by failures in the UK AML Compliance team
