Analog / Mixed Signal IC Designer Job in Pittsburgh 15219, Pennsylvania US
Bridge Semiconductor is a venture capital funded company based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Bridge is completing the development of a low-cost IRFPA (Infrared Focal Plane Array), for high-value commercial applications. The product uses standard submicron semiconductor manufacturing and custom MEMS processing. Currently, the company is sampling units to customers, and is committed to the development of the next generation thermal imaging products.
Bridge has begun the construction of a 2700 square foot, class 100, clean room in the Pittsburgh area. We are looking to add key personnel to our electrical design teams in order to produce next generation thermal imaging cameras.
Responsibilities include:
- IC level architecture design of imaging chips
- Transistor level design of basic analog cells
- IC layout and verification
- IC test responsibilities
- General electrical lab responsibilities
Qualifications/Experience:
- Solid IC design experience
- Detailed knowledge of circuit design tools )(SPICE)
- Proficient in VHDL/Verilog coding and simulation
- Experience in developing test plans based on specification and requirements
- Proven track record of high-level system thinking
- Strong analytical skills
- Low noise design and analysis
- Experience working with video systems
- BSEE /MSEE (MSEE is a plus)
- Five years of experience in the field is required
- Thermal imaging (LWIR) experience is a plus
- Experience in switch capacitor design.
