Analyst

You MUST have excellent analytical skills, as evidenced by strong proficiency in VBA (writing code), systems like Business Objects, the ability to build cashflow models.  You will also have at least a degree level education and probably an MSc/CFA (or studying towards)/ACA, or similar qualification.

 

It is LIKELY, though not essential, that the successful candidate will come from an ABS structuring and/or Treasury background.  You will have at least 2 years' experience, probably 3-4 years', but greater experience is also welcome where in a relevant field.

 

In return, you will be joining a 3-person team responsible for the management of all secured and unsecured funding on behalf of the firm, both private and public.

To provide analysis and reporting of asset-backed funding initiatives undertaken by the firm, whilst supporting the wider remit of the Structured Funding Team, within the Treasury Division.

Advanced MS Excel / VBA

Business Objects / MS Access

Knowledge of data extraction and manipulation

Ability to communicate complex methodologies and procedures in a simple and coherent manner

Secured funding / securitisation experience

Knowledge of SME and consumer lending or other financial services industry experience

Cashflow modeling experience Good commercial awareness.
