Our client is a market-leading funds manager offering an institutional client base a broad spectrum of investment opportunities across a range of asset classes. An established business with a growing pool of funds under management, they offer their employees a collegiate and collaborative working environment with the opportunity to advance careers locally and internationally. Due to expansion of their infrastructure investment group, a Senior Analyst, Infrastructure Investments is currently sought to join their Melbourne team.
Joining a highly credentialed and experienced Investment Team, the Senior Analyst will report to the Investment Director and take ownership of the production and delivery of consolidated performance reporting and analytics at a Fund level. This will include production of periodic and adhoc investor reports presentations in addition to analysis, reporting and modelling on funding commitments, re-financing, fund value, IRR and portfolio construction. The Senior Analyst will also participate in business development initiatives, proposal compilation submission and operational and system improvement projects for the Group.
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business or Finance with likely post graduate qualifications in accounting or finance (CA, CPA, MAppFin). A working knowledge of corporate finance principles is required, coupled with strong proficiency in MSExcel and the ability to manage complex financial models, understand key drivers and produce commentary on key portfolio movements. The ability to communicate with confidence and influence to senior and executive level stakeholders will be imperative. While previous experience in fund level reporting is favourable, applicants may also come from a professional services background with assurance, valuation and/or financial modelling experience.
