Analyst – Corporate Finance / M&A
A leading Corporate Finance boutique is looking to hire an Experienced Analyst. This privately owned international bank focuses mainly on corporate finance and asset managment with a European presence. The London team specialises in UK and cross border mid-market corporate finance advisory services to public and private companies across a range of industry sectors with a leaning towards FIG. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors while developing their exposure to FIG.
The role will have a high level of client exposure from the outset and will cover a wide variety of tasks including: financial analysis, financial modelling, company valuations, company and industry research, assisting in the preparation of client presentations, information memoranda, assisting in the project management of proposals and transaction mandates assisting with the drafting of circulars, prospectuses and other public documentation.
The position requires a confident person who is reliable, well organised with a high level of attention to detail and a good team spirit. A strong academic background, excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a high degree of competence in financial modelling, valuations and financial analysis are required. Knowledge and deal experience of the Listing Rules and Takeover Code would be an advantage. Relevant transaction experience within corporate finance is essential and FIG exposure is a big plus.
