My leading financial services client urgently requires an experienced Oracle Analyst Developer to join them on their major transformation programme in January.
Role
To analyse user requirements, design and build technical solutions and support system solutions which satisfy customer needs and priorities (using the full development life cycle).
Essential Experience:
- Recent practical experience of Oracle Warehousing (OWB)
- Experience of SQL Server BI tools and Microsoft tools specifically SSAS and SSRS
- Experience of utilising PL / SQL
- Experience produce logical and physical data models, data mapping documents and ETL standards
- Strong business analysis and technical software development skills for the translation of business requirements into real deliverables
- Significant experience in oracle dominated software development environments with material exposure in most of the following areas:
- oracle 10
- oracle developer
- oracle report writer
- oracle discoverer
- LINUX or and UNIX variant
- software configuration management exposure
- release management techniques exposure
- test management execution experience
- data analysis tools such as TOAD
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of dimension or database modelling is highly desirable
- Experience working on major change programmes within a financial services environment preferably Life Pensions
- On-shore/off-shore software development experience
