POSITION SUMMARY

This individual will work alongside Franklin Square’s due diligence coordinator to help complete due diligence requests, such as questionnaires or requests for information (RFIs), about any of Franklin Square’s funds.  These due diligence questions will come from the various broker dealers Franklin Square works with.  This individual will work closely with Franklin Square’s National Accounts and Product teams to complete necessary tasks and help be the primary point of contact for all due diligence efforts. In addition, this individual will help craft appropriate messaging points for both external and internal audiences as a member of the Product Strategy and Communications team.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assist National Accounts department in selling agreement efforts for new broker dealers and registered investment advisors (RIAs) by fulfilling any due diligence needs of these broker dealers or RIAs

·         Help coordinate the flow of due diligence requests and assist in the completion of due diligence questionnaires on any of the Franklin Square funds

·         Gather, understand and report on the legal, compliance, financial, and asset management areas of each fund and be able to articulate responses to questions from due diligence officers

·         Conduct in-person and telephonic diligence meetings for broker dealer diligence officers and other broker dealer personnel

·         Assist in improving the overall due diligence experience for those conducting diligence on Franklin Square

·         Assist in the development of detailed presentations for due diligence meetings

·         Serve as member of the Product Strategy and Communications team by helping to form the best messaging strategy for Franklin Square when communicating to due diligence personnel, financial advisors and the internal sales team

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelors Degree

·         1-3 years of finance related experience

·         Functional understanding of Word, PowerPoint and Excel

·         Experience working in the independent broker dealer space preferred

·         Progress towards Chartered Financial Analyst designation preferred

·         Familiarity with Qvidian or another RFI software preferred; familiarity with Salesforce preferred

·         Attention to detail and strong writing skills
