Analyst, Equity Operations
Working within the Group Operations department the candidate will be responsible for day to day management of trades and margin on Derivative and Equity products. The candidate will be working within a large team environment and is expected to have knowledge and practical experience of Equity/Derivative concepts, i.e. Equity processing, trading, settlement, Corporate Actions, CSDs, Margin etc
Main Responsibilities:
To monitor and ensure the timely settlement of equity contracts
To perform reconciliation of trades and be fully conversant with and be able to operate internal and external systems demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the systems and reports generated.
To process pending trades and position adjustments i
To monitor corporate actions and ensure they are processed within the given timeframes
Ensure operation deadlines for all contracts are adhered to at all times.
Perform margin analysis on Derivatives markets ensuring margin coverage is sufficient to manage Risk exposure.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Recent degree (or equivalent) or above of a economic or mathematical bias
Knowledge of Equities or Derivative products
Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with good attention to detail;
Ability to manage workload and priorities for themselves and demonstrates ability to work to deadlines;
Good communication skills, both oral and written;
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and VBA
