Analyst, European Rates Strategy recruitment
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Senior Strategists in their analysis of EUR and GBP rates markets;
• Develop spreadsheets and chart books with various economic and financial market data;
• Assist with the evaluation of economic and fundamental analysis;
• Develop relationships with other areas of Research, Sales and Trading;
• Contribute to client-specific research projects;
• Assist in coverage of morning meetings, daily and weekly research notes, etc; and
• In time, take direct responsibility for servicing segments of the London and international client base.
KEY STATISTICS
• Qualitative feedback from senior researchers;
• Qualitative feedback from sales force and clients;
• Performance of trade recommendation;
• Ranking in industry surveys; and
• Establishment and maintenance of client relationships.
EDUCATION /OR EXPERIENCE Required:
• Degree-educated;
• Natural curiosity for economics, politics and financial markets;
• Self starter - must be organized and able to work independently;
• Commitment to task, result oriented work attitude and an attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities;
• Excellent writing and communications skills;
• Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients;
• Very solid MS excel and VBA skills, other programing skills are a plus.
Preferred Specification:
• European language skills

• Strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft Office applications and sourcing data from vairous means including the internet.
