Analyst for the Convertible Securities Desk recruitment
Palisade manages assets for institutional and private clients, including five of the twenty largest (in assets) U.S. corporate sponsored pension plans.
Palisade Capital Management is seeking a highly motivated analyst responsible for assisting portfolio managers in assessing opportunities for their convertible securities desk.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting credit and equity oriented fundamental research
- Designing trading strategies for both long-only and arbitrage portfolios
- Monitoring portfolio positions
- Preparing research reports and presentations
- Providing support to our portfolio management team
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have 2-4 years fundamental research experience in equities and/or corporate securities
- CFA / MBA preferred
- Convertible experience and knowledge of equity derivatives a plus
- Strong analytical skill set
- The successful candidate will be intellectually curious and be able to effectively communicate both orally and in written form investment thesis with recommendations to the investment team and clients
Compensation:
- Competitive and commensurate with experience ($125,000 - $150,000)
