This exciting opportunity has become available to work within the financial services sector for a growing Hedge Funds administration company based in Surrey.

The applicant does not require previous industry experience and will be given full training.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a good team work ethic, a passion to learn and a proactive drive to achieve results.

This challenging role is within a diverse but collaborative team and in time would encompass all aspects of the post trade service offering from deal verification and reconciliation through to managing the associated cash flows and financing.

In addition to receiving daily support and practical hands on training we also encourage and financially support relevant industry qualifications such as the Investment Management Certificate.

Responsibilities

The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:

•  50% Administer trade confirmations, settlement and position maintenance for designated funds to ensure timely settlement and accurate record-keeping.

•  20% Perform daily and month end cash and security reconciliations, ensuring differences/issues are identified and actioned in a timely manner.

•  20% Process trade related documents and cash flow requests to ensure deals are documented in a timely manner and all funding deadlines are met.

•  5% Work with internal (e.g. accounting, cash and collateral management) and external (e.g prime brokers, global custodians, trade counterparties) parties to ensure all problems/issues are identified and actioned in a timely manner.

•  5% Undertake ad hoc projects as directed, to enable the business to meet its stated objectives.
