Analyst – Private Equity Fund Placement recruitment

Our client is a leading independent investment bank with a global presence. As part of their expansion, they have a requirement for an Analyst in their Private Capital Advisory Group in London. The Group comprises a team of 26 dedicated private capital advisory professionals in Europe, US and Asia, focused exclusively on raising capital and providing advisory services for private equity and real estate sponsors. The team has completed over 135 successful fundraisings, totalling more than $115b of equity raised.

Responsibilities of this role will include conducting research on private equity funds in Europe, co-ordinating due diligence information, drafting private placement memoranda, preparing client presentations and assisting in analyses and the valuation of private fund investment portfolios and private companies

The appointed candidate will gain exposure to all aspects of the global fund placement advisory business and will play an integral part in the team’s success. Due to the small size of the team the appointee can expect to gain outstanding experience and wide exposure to the senior professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a first class academic background from a leading university. Language skills would be advantageous.

Suitable candidates are likely to be in the second year of their investment banking analyst programme or have had exposure to private equity in some other capacity. Direct experience within the private equity sector would be ideal.
