Analyst, Research
Key roles and responsibilities for this position include:
- Update and maintain corporate datasets on timber markets, environmental markets, and other relevant economic indicators
- Analyse and synthesise market and commercial information to support reporting to investors and investment activities of New Forests
- Support coordination of research needs and information flows across all of New Forests’ offices
- Contribute to production of presentations, quarterly and annual reporting, and other projects through research, analysis, writing, and editing
- Support and coordinate with the rest of the Investor Services functions related to funds marketing, client relations, sustainability, and communications
The following experience and qualifications are required for this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline with one to three years of relevant professional experience in areas such as investment consulting, economic research, or banking
- Excellent analytic, interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
- Energetic and detail oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Strong team player interested in the area of environmental management, sustainability, forestry and land management
