Equity Research Associate, Consumer and Retail, Global Asset Management Firm
Our client is a leading asset management firm, and of the biggest investment firms in the world. They are a long only investor and manage billions for investor.
They are now looking to add an equity research associate to their EMEA research team – the focus of the role will be the identification and analysis of stocks in the consumer sector. This would include retail, HPC, beverages and other related stocks.
The funds adopts a long only investment strategy and you will carry out detailed commercial, financial and business analysis of companies, sectors, trends and issues. This will, inter alia, involve meeting companies, management and pitching ideas to clients.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- Sell side equity analysts with experience in the consumer sector
- Buy side equity analysts
- Investment bankers with consumer or retail experience
- Real interest in investing
- Strong communication skills
