Analyst – Structured Finance recruitment

Summary

Reporting into the VP of the team you will help form an integral part of the Structured Finance business unit.

Responsibilities

Deep analysis of financial market participants external constituents achieved by written research managing relationships with the aforementioned
The analysis will pay specific attention to Capital markets including asset backed, commercial and residential mortgage backed securities.
Develop cultivate effective relationships with internal stakeholders whilst contributing to the overall goals of the team
Participating in external communications such as one-on-one meetings ,conferences seminars with market participants, intermediaries investors
To coach and mentor junior members of staff such as Associates

Qualifications Prerequisites

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, Statistics or Maths
Candidates with an excess of 3 years experience within Capital markets, working for a professional accounting firm or financial institution would be best suited to the position. Experience at one of the Investment Banks on a Fixed Income desk would be of interest advantageous
Highly numerate with strong cash flow, financial modeling and financial analysis expertise
Holistic thorough understanding of securitization. Exposure to ABS RMBS is a priority.
International experience is of interest but local (Australia) exposure CMBS, ABS and RMBS securities is also valued
Must exhibit excellent organisational, attention to detail, communication (written verbal) and interpersonal skills

Compensation package

Salary range is between AUS $90,000 - 120,000 plus Superannuation discretionary bonus. Fringe benefits (healthcare etc) attractive too.
